Table 1 is for the hard drive, you place the master and slave disk 1 seconds (middle) (if you do 2)

2 is the Motherboard CD / DVD.

But the Council should consider whether the drive is connected and so on. Make sure all power connections from the power supply is connected and secure. and if they ensure anythink the CPU to make sure that the radiator sits proporly. dosnt start when I get the CPU (only if) it first and consider whether and havnt bent pin in the right piece of folded havnt way.check all pins or connectors on the motherboard.

Now there are a number of cables in your computer. There are ribbon cables for your CD / DVD, hard drive and cables are in a discreet white Molex connectors are connected to the power connections.

Maybe I should go to the library and get a book on the modernization and repair of PCs. You have to explain all the titles and pictures on what you do. Make sure (the chassis of the computer) on one side of the ground, always.

A picture really really help.

IDE

Belt, if no IDE hard disk cable to the motherboard, CD / DVD on the motherboard and drive to the motherboard.

Listen, Rob, there are 2 groups of 2 IDE-law taken in each case? and for the disc on other drives in the entire hard drive is the master-slave, with foreign direct investment is still a main unit and a slave hard drive there is a small bridge in this Hardrive to different pins to change the master / to slave hard drive, inadvertently, the master-slave IDE hard drive and vice versa ... put Just change the ids around until he starts the work is not bad, also make sure that your RAM is properly seated and that the clips all have a responsibility to remove it at any time that the heat sink to remove the old thermal compound and apply a new layer, so that when you are away, you may want to do.

Another thing, make sure the power cord to the motherboard 20 or 24-pin and 4-pin or 8, one for the CPU when they all try to bound up and down em off

If the computer does not turn off at all, you screwed up big, and the "tapes" (probably the IDE ribbon cable) have nothing to do with it. A tour of the team without them.

Well, I want to say that without an absolute, is that the IDE cable. In any case, connect one end of the cable to the motherboard and the other end into the CD or floppy disk. Labels and slots means nothing, the BIOS will automatically detect which is which. If there was a red stripe down or against you.

Have reattatch sure that the switch is pressed? It is difficult to find the right pin, but they must be labeled and PWR GND.
